Join Our Society
We invite everyone interested in Maple Ridge and its History to join our society. In addition to joining a community of people who share your interests and showing your support for the preservation of our community's heritage, you will receive advance notice of all upcoming events through our newsletter mailed to you once a month. In addition, for all you genealogy buffs, you will receive a monthly family history newsletter full of information on how to research your family's history and lots of tips on research resources.
Our monthly meetings are held at St. Andrews Heritage Hall & a historic brick church located on 116th Ave just west of the Haney Bypass and next door to the Masonic Hall at 11679 116th Ave. Our meeting night is the fourth Thursday of each month and we meet at 7:30pm.
At those meetings we have invited guest speakers on wide-ranging topics that are free to you to attend as a member [$2 for visitors]. See our Events Calendar for upcoming speakers and events. We also have annual member social events including our Christmas party on the second Thursday of December and a Pot-Luck Supper and silent auction at our AGM in March.
Donations are always welcome and the Society provides tax receipts for donations of $20 or more.
